About
My name is Abbey, and I founded Kick Back Create in 2016 after gaining experience in various marketing roles. The company grew out of word-of-mouth demand and the hard work I put in during evenings and weekends until it became my full-time job. While I collaborate with trusted partners when needed, I aim to handle most of the client website and marketing work myself.
My Story
In 2011, my journey into the world of marketing began while working at a comedy club in London. I discovered a natural flair for marketing, quickly realising the impact it could have on engaging audiences and promoting events. This newfound passion soon led me to market for my sellout comedy club in Guildford where I honed my skills and began to understand the intricacies of effective marketing strategies.
My first professional marketing role came with Stagecoach head office, where I received comprehensive training in digital marketing.
This experience was invaluable, equipping me with the knowledge and tools needed to further my career as a marketeer. As I navigated this career path, associates who owned businesses began seeking my expertise to grow their online presence through digital and local marketing.
During this time, I also taught myself how to build websites using a variety of web platforms, further expanding the services I could offer. Witnessing the remarkable growth of these smaller companies fuelled my dedication. Word of my work spread, leading to a steady stream of referrals and the eventual formation of Kick Back Create, am I never looked back.
My vision is to become a trusted partner for local Lincolnshire businesses, helping them reach their full potential through effective website development and tailored marketing strategies.
By focusing on the unique needs and strengths of our community, I aim to foster a vibrant and thriving local economy where businesses not only succeed but also enrich the lives of residents and contribute to a stronger, more connected community.
